Macro Photo Walk Challenge - Hamilton Gardens

Ready for a fun photo challenge?

Join me for a photo walk amongst the beautiful and varied surroundings of Hamilton Gardens.

The photo challenge will be Macro - embracing bold and pastel colours and some abstract.

Instructions will be given to all attendees prior to the event commencing.

Photographers of all ages and levels of experience are welcome to attend, however having a basic understanding of how to navigate your camera's menus and change settings will help you make the most of this event. It's a great opportunity to talk photography with like minded people, take some stunning photos, and get outside of your comfort zone!

Information about where to meet will be provided to attendees before the event.

You don't need a Sony camera to attend this event, but a selection of Sony cameras and lenses may be available to try during the morning.

Please email me at least two weeks prior to the event if there is anything specific you would like to try. In particular if you would like a Sony camera body and macro lens for this event.

NB: This event will proceed even if it is raining. Entry fee into the speciality Hamilton Gardens is not included and must be purchased separately by yourself to attend this event.

• Camera and lenses (bring a macro lens if you have, otherwise you can try using a zoom from a distance)
• Fully charged battery
• Empty memory card
• Rain jacket for your camera
• A warm jacket/sweater and closed toe shoes, along with a weatherproof jacket
• Water
• A willingness to learn and a sense of adventure!
