2025 Alpha Awards Photo Competition
Terms and conditions apply.*
May's Auckland community catch up is a special event for a cause close to my own heart - a Pink Ribbon high tea, fundraising for the Breast Cancer Foundation.
Treat yourself to high tea at Farm House Cafe in Clevedon with a one hour photo challenge beforehand (onsite) where you will get the opportunity to photograph water buffalo, sheep, alpaca and a giant dog statue!
The high tea is included in the ticket price. If you haven't experienced the delicious food at the Farm House Cafe before, then you're in for a treat!
Full photo challenge details for the photo walk will be sent out to attendees.
And if you wish to bring your dog along for the walk and high tea you can, as the Farm House Cafe is dog friendly.
During the high tea we will chat about all things photography. This is an opportunity to spend the morning with a group of fellow photographers. Whether you're a hobbyist, a professional, or somewhere in between, all are welcome.
Whilst I specialise in dog photography, I'm happy to answer any questions I can on photography in general and likewise I'd love to learn all about you, your favourite genre of photography, what gear you use and what inspires you!
As a breast cancer survivor myself, I hope you can join me in helping to support this important cause and raise funds for breast cancer education, research and patient support.
So, if spending the morning getting to know fellow photographers, going for a walk in nature, taking photographs for the challenge, talking about the art of image making over high, tea and fundraising for a good cause sounds like fun, then I look forward to seeing you there!
NB: High tea is included in this event. Vegetarian and gluten free diets can be accommodated.
* This photo walk challenge will be followed by a free online image discussion on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025, where we will have the opportunity to talk through our favourite photos taken at the Saturday event. Please register for this separate event if you would like to attend. *
