About the event

Monthly Photowalk - Feb Session

We will start the walk with a 10 minute briefing establishing portrait photography techniques when using natural light. After this as a group we will begin our Photowalk, shooting in different locations around Docklands to practice portrait photography. In total, the briefing and Photowalk duration will be 2 hours.

This Photowalk session will be hosted by Zeeshan (Sony Digital Imaging Advocate) who will be offering guidance and tips for portrait photography.

​We will meet at Southern Cross Station near Bourke Street Mall 

Non-Sony Shooters (Photographers) are also welcome to join.

Please note: the ticket price will be used to cover model hiring costs. I will ensure that we have at least 2 agency models available on the day as photography subjects.

  • Natural Light Portrait Photography

What to bring

  • Any brand Mirrorless or DSLR Camera + Any Portrait Lens from 35mm to 200mm
  • Water bottle 
  • Umbrella, in case it rains

I will arrange some Sony bodies and lenses for the participants to try on the day.
There are plenty of paid parking spots available around Melbourne CBD. However, I would suggest to arrive atleast 15 minutes before time to allow yourself enough time to find a parking.
2 Hours Photowalk Professional agency standard Models 5 photographers - 1 model Ratio. Basic instructions Sony Digital Imaging Advocate (Zeeshan) will be available through out the session for any Q&A
