About the event

Are you an aspiring photographer eager to elevate your portrait skills?

Join Rebecca McMillan for a hands-on, two-hour workshop where you will learn how to create studio portraits that truly stand out.

This session is perfect for amateur and intermediate photographers wanting to take the step into the world of studio lighting, posing, styling and composition. Rebecca will guide you through working with models, using professional lighting setups, and bringing out the best in your subjects.

Plus, you'll have the opportunity to try out the new Sony 85mm F1.4 GM II lens and other Sony camera gear, giving you a firsthand experience with top-notch equipment!

To make the experience even more special, you’ll leave the workshop with your own professional portrait captured by Rebecca herself.

What to expect

  • Live demonstration and hands-on shooting with a model
  • The opportunity to try the new Sony 85mm GM II lens and other Sony gear
  • Your own portrait taken by Rebecca McMillan (supplied as a JPEG file)
  • Light snacks (please contact the organiser if you have dietary requirements)

A minimum of five attendees per workshop required. The cutoff date is the Friday before the event.
Please note the studio location is up one flight of stairs (no elevator access available).
