Road to SceneScape TradeShow, Street Photography Walk

Join Sony Digital Imaging Advocates Dylan Gianna and Craig Turnbull for a guided Street Photography walk starting from Wynyard Station on Saturday, 20th September 2025. 

Join us for a street photography walk through the streets of Sydney. This event is designed for photography enthusiasts who will have the chance to capture the early morning life of the city. Participants will walk from Wynyard Station to the iconic Queen Victoria Building, followed by a short bus ride to the Sony Tradeshow at White Bay Power Station.

Every attendee will also receive a FREE One Day Pass (valued at $39) to the Sony SceneScape Tradeshow 2025.

Itinerary

Meeting at Wynyard Station

   - Gather at the designated meeting point in front of Wynyard Station. 

   - Brief introductions and overview of the day’s itinerary.

Street Photography Walk

   - We will stroll through the streets, capturing the essence of Sydney.

   - Key areas of focus: architecture, transportation, and candid moments.

   - Tips and techniques will be shared throughout the walk.

Arrival at Queen Victoria Building

   - Explore and photograph the stunning architecture of the QVB.

   - Coffee break and time for participants to share their favorite shots and experiences.

Bus Ride to Sony Tradeshow

   - Participants will catch a bus from the York St Bus Stop, Stand B at 9:21am to White Bay Power Station.

   - Please ensure you have your Opal Card or a debit/credit card set up for transit.

Arrival at Sony Tradeshow

   - Once at the White Bay Power Station, experience the latest Sony camera gear firsthand, gain insights from industry experts and professional creators through curated talks, panels, and masterclasses, and ignite your creativity with interactive workshops and live demos.

WET WEATHER POLICY

The event will only be cancelled if a severe weather event is imminent. (Bring an umbrella or raincoat if rain is forescast)

Capturing street photography in the rain and the transformation it brings to the environment — reflections on wet pavement, glowing neon lights mirrored in puddles, umbrellas adding shape and texture, and people moving differently as they navigate the weather.
