About the event
Zoom meeting with live demonstrations showing lens settings, which lens to use on which camera, plus Q&A.
The lens is usually regarded as the most important long-term investment in photography, and knowing how to make best use of the lens can help you take full advantage of it to get better images.
We'll also discuss the differences between standard Sony lenses, G (gold), GM (gold master) and Sony Zeiss. We may discuss using full frame lenses on crop sensor cameras, and vice versa, if anyone wants help with that (one of the advantages of Sony's unique mirrorless "One Mount" system).
Please ensure your Zoom meeting software is updated to version 5 because from 30th May previous versions will not work. You can download (then install) the latest "Zoom Client for Meetings" for your computer from:
If you're on a phone or iPad/tablet, go to the Google Play or Apple App Store to update Zoom.
