About the event
Meet at 9am for coffee and a chat at the Evergeen Deli, next to Schomburgk Pavilion. Then wander around, probably including the Main Lake (with its reflections), Schomburgk Pavilion, First Creek Wetland, Amazon Waterlily Pavilion and the International Rose Garden.
Free parking in Plane Tree Drive (closest entrance to Everygreen Deli is Friends' Gate, next to North Lodge).
The Botanic Gardens have a photo for everyone, from surprising landscapes in the heart of the city to wildlife photography of birds and small critters, and of course everything botanical: from Murdoch Avenue with its rows of magnificent Moreton Bay fig trees, to the smallest flowers and the bees that hang near them, you have to try really hard not to walk away with good images.
