Join Sony Digital Imaging Advocate Zeeshan Zafar for a practical studio lighting workshop designed to help photographers better understand how light works, how to shape it and which modifier to use for different results.
Working with a fashion model, we'll demonstrate and compare some of the most commonly used studio modifiers:
Softbox • Octabox • Stripbox
Learn how each modifier changes the quality and direction of light, and how size, distance, angle and positioning affect softness, shadows, contrast and overall mood.

Building simple, effective studio lighting setups
This is a hands-on workshop, with attendees getting the opportunity to photograph our fashion model using the lighting setups demonstrated during the session.
