About the event
In this workshop, you will learn how to shoot portrait photography using studio strobe lights. We will use light modifiers including octo-boxes, beauty dishes, snoots, reflectors, barn doors and umbrellas to create different lighting effects. You’ll also learn about the impact on lighting when using different backdrops. We’ll have a model available on the day to shoot studio portraits.
Bring your DSLR or mirrorless camera along and/or a formatted SD card for a hands-on interactive session. Or you can use some of the latest Sony camera gear available to use on the day.
The workshop is in partnership with Thornton Camera House and includes a $50 store gift voucher to use towards any Sony purchase.
