Learn to work with models, studio lights, light modifiers and backdrops

About the event

In this workshop, you will learn how to use a mirrorless camera with studio strobes.

We will be using various light modifiers such as Octo-boxes, Beauty dishes, Snoots, Reflectors, Barn Doors and umbrellas to produce different lighting styles.

You will also learn about using different backdrops for different styles of lighting.

The first half of the workshop will be theory, with demonstrations on the different light modifiers and the effect they have on the overall lighting. In the second half, you will get a chance to take photographs with a couple of common light setups.

This workshop is aimed at beginners and intermediate photographers, but all levels are welcome.
