About the event
Join Sony Scene Advocate Carmel Boyd for a morning sunrise shoot amongst the flowering tulips of the Table Cape Tulip Farm. With special after hours access having been granted, we will watch the sunrise over Yable Cape and across to the lighthouse! This casual meet will give you the opportunity to shoot with other photographers from the local community, make some new friends and be given some tips on how to find the right composition as well as learn which settings are best for this type of scene! A loan kit with a large range of various Sony bodies and lenses will be available for attendees to try on the morning also!
We will be meeting in the carpark at 6am where loan gear can be distributed to anyone who'd like to try something (You will need to leave your drivers license for any items loaned). We will then head into the farm to get set up and ready for first light and sunrise! If you have any issues when arriving or are running late, please see my details below to contact me!
The event will run from 6am - 7:30am to catch sunrise and some of the remaining soft morning light!
** PLEASE REMEMBER DAYLIGHT SAVINGS BEGINS ON SUNDAY SO SET YOUR ALARMS AND CLOCKS ACCORDINGLY SO YOU DON'T MISS OUT!
