An introduction to film stills photography with Rebecca McMillan and Nicola Dove

About the event

Ever wondered what's involved with being an on-set photographer? Join me for a conversation with international film stills photographer Nicola Dove.

We'll be talking about our work on film sets, documenting the making of film and TV productions, and creating images for promotion and publicity.

During this free lunchtime webinar we will learn about Nicola's extensive international career which includes photographing Daniel Craig's Bond in No Time to Die and recent work on the set of Blumhouse horror Wolfman. Nicola is a Sony shooter and we'll look at why Alpha gear is the ideal setup for unit stills photography.

We'll also discuss:

  • What's in Nicola's everyday on-set kit
  • Studio work for poster 'gallery' shoots
  • The Film Stills Academy and what that offers for photographers

This webinar is perfect for anyone currently working in the film industry, interested in working on set, or anyone with a curiosity about different types of professional photography. There will Q&A time allowed for at the end of the 30 minute talk.
