About the event
Discover the world of travel photography with me, Dylan Giannakopoulos for my online Travel Photography Masterclass on Tuesday 15th October 2024. As a photographer who has built a diverse portfolio from capturing images during my travels with friends and family, I'm thrilled to show you how you can do the same!
Travel photography encompasses a wide variety of photographic disciplines aimed at documenting an area's landscape, culture and people. Drawing upon my experiences of photographing breathtaking landscapes and bustling cityscapes from across the globe, I'll be sharing practical insights, tips, and techniques to help you make the most of your next holiday or adventure. Additionally, I’ll also be reflecting upon what it took to capture some of my favourite portfolio images, before concluding with a Q&A session.
In the presentation, I will be discussing:
- How to maximise your time away by location scouting and compiling a shoot list before you leave.
- The equipment you’ll find in my camera bag whilst travelling.
- How quality of light plays a critical role in photography and how to plan your shoots accordingly.
- Data management and image workflow whilst on the go.
- Practical tips and tricks to improve your travel photography.
- How to incorporate compositional techniques in your photography to create captivating imagery.
After the workshop, you will be invited to join a private Facebook group which is strictly limited to past attendees of Dylan Gianna Photography Workshops. The Facebook group offers members a space to share their images, ask questions and learn tips and tricks from me. Please note that this session will be recorded.
