About the event
We’re kicking things off in the streets of Barangaroo, where the city’s lines, textures, and golden hour glow come together for the perfect urban portrait playground. This workshop is designed for photographers of all levels, whether you’re just getting comfortable with your camera or you’ve been shooting for years.
We’ll explore how to read natural light as it shifts through the city, how to pick locations that elevate your composition, and how I approach directing and shooting portraits in fast-moving urban environments. You’ll get to watch my process, ask questions on the spot, and try out the techniques yourself.
We’ll also have the latest Sony gear available to test, but all camera brands are welcome the focus is on creativity.
Expect a relaxed, hands on session, a supportive group, and plenty of opportunities to build your portfolio with that dreamy golden hour look.
