Photowalk the historic Walkerville with fellow Sony photographers

About the event

Our first 2021 Sony get-together will be in historic Walkerville (inner suburb of Adelaide). Come early (8am) for a coffee or breakfast stop and Sony camera chat in Nest Bistro at the entrance to Woolworths Walkerville Shopping Centre (104 Walkerville Tce), to be ready for an 8:45am departure on our photowalk.

Take advantage of summer to see the hidden and not-so-hidden wonders of this suburb that attracted many rich early settlers of Adelaide in the 19th century.

Colin will give you a bit of history of some buildings, and will help you with camera settings. It will be a nice walk. This part of Walkerville has photo opportunities for everyone. Historic buildings abound. You have to try really hard to walk away without a great image!

  • Architectural photography.
  • Sony's highlight metering mode.

What to bring

  • Telephoto and wide angle lenses.
  • Warm weather is predicted, so don't forget to bring a hat and plenty of cold water.
