About the event
Need a challenge? Our second Wellington Photo Challenge for 2025 is a COLOUR challenge.
We will spend one hour at one location capturing photos that celebrate colour (and the Begonia House). Participants will then go home and edit their favourites and send through their top one or two images. We'll then have a follow-up group Google meet session to review everyone's photos. The photo review will take place on Tuesday evening following the photo session.
Our location for this challenge is the Begonia House within the Lady Norwood Rose Garden at Wellington Botanic Garden.
Last year the Wellington City Council announced that they may have to demolish the structure. While this decision has been put on hold, it's a good reminder that nothing last forever... but photographs can!
Colour?! But I love black and white
Yes, this is a challenge for me too. There are many colourful elements in and around Begonia House that we can use to express ourselves creatively.
