About the event
Join us online for a discussion about whale photography and editing whale photos.
For both budding and experienced wildlife photographers this is a genre that is both very exciting and very frustrating. A day on the ocean often yields too much yelling and laughing as we watch these giant labradors of the sea entertain us.
We'll discuss camera settings, lens choices, and occupational hazards ( the rocking ocean! ), shutter speeds and light control.
The ocean can be very glary with high contrast, or very dull with little light to play with - either way whale photography is a skill that you can apply to many other varieties of wildlife and bird photography.
In post processing Robin will show you simple ways to bring yor picture to life. We will be editing pictures from recent whale trips .
Every person that registers for this event - and attends, is eligible for x1 entry into the Sony Scene Festical Grand Prize of a trip to Greece. How exciting is that!
