About the event
Join award-winning photographers and Sony Digital Imaging Advocates, Robin Moon and Dylan Giannakopoulos, for an evening of Wine, Cheese, and Photography. This interactive session is designed for photographers of all levels, offering a unique opportunity to share your work, receive constructive feedback, and witness live post-processing demonstrations—all while sipping on a glass of your favourite red and nibbling on some cheese (because creativity pairs well with both!). Whilst all genres of photography are accepted for review, to get the best out of Dylan and Robin it is suggested your images have a landscape, wildlife or nature focus.
What to Expect:
- Image Review:
- After booking, you'll receive a Google Drive link to upload one of your images at least 48 hours before the event. While it may feel intimidating to share your work, this is a supportive environment where you can receive valuable, constructive feedback. To maximise the benefit of the session, consider submitting an image that didn’t quite meet your expectations or posed challenges during editing. Please include both the RAW and JPEG files and rename them with your name and the event date (e.g., DylanGianna_190923_1.jpeg).
- Open Discussion:
- Engage in a lively discussion with fellow photographers. For the best experience, connect using a computer or a mobile device set up on a stable surface. Ensure your space is well-lit and quiet, and consider using earbuds with a built-in microphone for clear audio.
- Post-Processing Demonstration:
- Dylan and Robin will each select two images from participant submissions to edit live in Lightroom Classic and Photoshop, showcasing their unique styles and techniques. To have your image considered, please ensure both JPEG and RAW versions are uploaded. Having a basic understanding of Lightroom will be helpful for you to get the most out of this session.
