About the event

Bored with your photography? Can't get away to shoot refreshing and exotic locations?

Then we have the shoot for you right here at home.

You already know Robin as a wildlife and landscape  photographer but did you know her partner was one of Sydney's most celebrated and awarded Architects before he moved to photography full time? Timothy's skill at seeing shapes and patterns in a way you have never imagined  is second to none ( as those who have shot with us before will soundly agree ). Not wanting to copy those who document iconic buildings in the standard way, he has a passion for shooting locations with a fresh and fun perspective. A street walk is never in a straight line - although we always have an agenda, he can be easily sidetracked by a shape or a light pattern or texture that you may have passed a 100 times before. It takes a special eye to see the magic he can see in the ordinary.

His eye for pattern and design has been  awarded not only as an Architect, but also in International Photography competitions such as the highly competitive Siena Photo Awards for Abstract Art Photography.

If you want to see the everyday from new angles and add in a new perspective to the way you approach your photography then you will enjoy every moment of his tuition.  Expect to look for unusual shapes from locations you've visited a dozen times before; expect to entirely rethink the type of lenses you might use for street scape and landscape, expect to rethink the equipment you might need entirely for a satisfying shoot - Timothy will usually carry not only his mirrorless Sony + Zoom lens, but also his point and shoot Sony and an Iphone, all of which will give a differing result. We don't mind what you use - it's more about what and how you will see.

Most of all, expect to have fun and rejuvenate your senses as we guide you through a few of Sydney's Iconic landmarks.

This shoot encompasses 2 parts. The first is an early morning street walk to allow for soft light commencing at Circular Quay and the 2nd part is a zoom meeting the next day to show you how to best edit your photos. The time of the zoom meeting will be confirmed on the day of the first shoot.
