Please wear appropriate clothing ensuring you have a warm jacket and beanie. Despite being summer, the ocean front can become bitterly cold at night. Long sleeves and long pants are recommended to protect from mosquitos.
Yes - we park at the end of Putty Beach Road inside Bouddi National Park.
While we will be on hand to help photographers learn how to capture the night sky and the Milky Way, this is not a workshop, more an event to get like minded photographers in a safe group to capture the night sky.
Bouddi Coastal Walk is generally accessible to those with a good degree of mobility with a short 500m walk across the beach from the car park and a few small stairs to climb up. We will be traversing a coastal cliff line which during the night can be deceptive and so a high degree of mobility and self awareness will be necessary.
There are no public transport options available to get to Bouddi National Park. You will need to be self driving or car pooling with others. If you require transport, please contact Jay to discuss options.
