Half-day wedding portrait workshop and styled shoot at Ataahua in Tauranga

About the event

Join us to celebrate the start of the wedding season and the launch of the new Sony FE 85mm F1.4 GM II lens!

We're hosting a hands-on wedding portrait workshop at Ataahua Garden Wedding Venue in Tauranga. Spend the morning learning how to elevate your bridal portraits, then participate in a professionally styled shoot by Wild and Whim. This is for anyone serious about creating better stories in the wedding industry. 

After the workshop, you'll have the chance to share your results in our Facebook group.

A selection of Sony gear will be available to try and compare, plus each attendee will receive a Sony goodie bag!

  • Portrait posing 
  • Client management on a wedding day 
  • Storytelling, anticipating emotion
  • Capturing the details at a wedding
  • Utilising available natural light 

What to bring

  • Camera and lenses (some Sony gear will also be available to test)
  • Memory cards
  • Spare batteries

We will enjoy snacks (and wedding cake) but feel free to bring something if you have specific dietary requirements.
There is a large off road carpark at the venue. Please be careful pulling off the main road as it's very busy.
Not easily, so please ask of you require a lift.
