About the event
Join me for a unique sunrise among Waikato's rolling hills reminscent of Tuscany.
We'll shoot sunrise from this stunning roadside location watching the scene change over the course of the sunrise through to golden hour. This is a location to embrace the art of taking it slow and choosing sections of the scene and focal lengths carefully as the light changes.
I'll be on hand to make suggestions on lens focal length and compositions.
If you would like to try out any Sony gear (in particular if you need a specific lens length to make the most of compositions for this event, please get in touch at least 2 weeks before the event).
Techniques covered
- How to use differing focal lengths to create unique compositions
- How to use side lighting to enhance a scene
- Ensuring sharp focus in low light
What to bring
- Camera and lenses (you will need a LONG lens as well as a mid-range for this scene, both 24-70 and 70-200)
- Tripod
- A graduated filter or polariser may be handy also
- Warm gear
