Learn how to capture speed with BMX through dynamic video storytelling

About the event

BMX pump tracks are fast, technical, and full of energy and this workshop is all about learning how to capture that speed through dynamic video storytelling.

Hosted by Joanne Stephan, this hands-on outdoor workshop is designed for photographers and videographers wanting to level up their action content skills in a real riding environment. You’ll learn how to track riders smoothly through berms and rollers, create cinematic movement, and capture high-energy moments that feel immersive and engaging.

From slow-motion clips and rider follow shots to creative framing and camera movement techniques, this session focuses on practical skills you can immediately apply to sports, action, and social media content.

Whether you’re shooting on a Sony Alpha camera or another camera system, all camera brands are welcome. This workshop is all about getting creative, experimenting with movement, and building confidence behind the camera. Expect speed, dirt, laughs, and plenty of epic BMX moments 🤘
