Coffee Catch-up & Bird Photography + Gear Talk

Join me for a relaxed morning coffee catch-up all about birds, bird photography and long lenses.

Whether you’re already into bird photography, just getting started, or simply curious about the gear used for photographing birds and wildlife, come along for coffee and a chat with other photography enthusiasts.

This catch-up follows my Bird Photography Walk at Shakespear Regional Park earlier that morning, but you don’t need to attend the photo walk to join us. Come along to either event, or make a morning of it and join us for both.

If you’ve been at the morning photo walk, we can look through some of the images we’ve created and continue the conversation around settings, techniques and what worked for us on the day.

There will also be a selection of Sony cameras, telephoto and super-telephoto lenses available to look at and try, including focal lengths ranging from approximately 100mm through to 600mm.

So if you’ve been wondering what it’s like to photograph with a longer lens, or you’re considering different options for bird and wildlife photography, this is a great opportunity to come along, have a look and talk gear over coffee.

Most importantly, this is a social catch-up for bird photography enthusiasts of all experience levels - a chance to meet other photographers, share experiences, ask questions and talk about all things birds and photography.
