Explore the Salt lakes of the Victorian Mallee by land and air

About the event

Join Award winning photographers and Sony Advocates  Robin and Timothy Moon for a 5 day adventure in the Mallee District of Victoria. Explore 3 nearby salt lakes capturing sunrise and sunset mirror reflections, aerial abstract landscapes by drone and evening astrophotography (subject to weather). We have access to private land which allows us to explore more deeply into some of the most spectacular parts of the lake not normally accessible to the public.

If you are new to Drone photography we take the stress out of it for you - you use one of our 4 drones and  we handle the takeoff and landing aspects. Just enjoy the flight portion in a relaxed manner whilst we provide you with some very easy training, whilst not forgetting to take photos and video. 100% of our clients fall in love with this aspect and the way of seeing this magical world from its best view. We provide clear and simple instruction whilst also ensuring everyone is flying safely.

The full cost of the event is $2990 per person with the balance payment  paid directly to Wanderlust Imagery. Non photography partners sharing a room welcome on a reduced rate by negotiation and deposit.

Previous Workshops can be seen on our YouTube channel  Come Fly with Me  or Here .

Our longest  day drive is around an hour so you have time to sit and absorb the landscape without the need to rush to the next location. Many of our guests have returned for a 2nd or 3rd time on this workshop because there is just so much to experience and we always aim to have fun.

Coffees are on us! Accommodation is fully self contained but there is a cafe on one side and a pub on the other side and a supermarket across the road for food options.
We can get muddy and salty depending on the water levels in the lake. It is deliciously cold during the evenings in May. Daytimes are sunny and temperate.
A morning is set aside for an optional light plane flight over the salt lakes. The cost of the light plane flight is in addition to the workshop fee.
