Step into the world of creative portraiture and editorial photography with Sony Digital Imaging Advocate Eric Peng, presented by Sony Australia and Croydon Camera House.
Join us for an inspiring, hands-on photography workshop designed for photographers looking to elevate their creative vision, strengthen their understanding of lighting and art direction, and create images with a polished editorial feel.
Set within the sophisticated Jade Room at Hyde Melbourne Place, this intimate workshop offers a beautiful environment to explore portrait and still-life photography while getting hands-on with the latest Sony Alpha cameras and G Master lenses.
Throughout the workshop, you'll have the opportunity to photograph a professional model in a carefully designed editorial setting, with Nanlite lighting available on site to help you explore different lighting techniques, moods and creative approaches.
You'll also have the chance to work with floral still-life arrangements, giving you an opportunity to experiment with composition, colour, styling and detail — and to slow down and refine your creative eye.

As EP Group Director and Sony Digital Imaging Advocate, Eric Peng brings extensive experience in photography, creative direction and the professional imaging industry.
Eric will take you behind the creative process, sharing not just how to create an image, but how to think about the image before you press the shutter.
