Join us for an evening of photography, creativity, and community as we explore Ponsonby from golden hour through to after dark.

Starting at Sony NZ HQ, we’ll head out together for a relaxed photography walk through Ponsonby and surrounding areas. Capture the changing light from sunset into the evening while exploring urban photography, composition, and creative storytelling.

After the walk, we’ll return to Sony NZ HQ for food, image selection, editing, and a casual group discussion. Bring your laptop if you’d like to edit alongside us, or simply sit back, watch, and join the conversation as we share images and creative ideas.

This event is perfect for photographers of all levels — whether you’re looking to meet other creators, explore Auckland with your camera, practise shooting in changing light, or simply spend an evening creating and sharing photography.

5:00 PM – Meet at Sony NZ HQ

• Welcome and introductions
• Meet fellow attendees
• Overview of the evening’s creative focus
• Discuss what we’ll be looking for while shooting

5:45 PM - 7PM – Golden Hour & After Dark Photography Walk Begins

• Head out from Sony NZ HQ to explore Ponsonby and surrounding areas as it transforms from day to night. 

7:45 PM – Return to Sony NZ HQ: Edit & Connect

• Wrap up the shooting session with an informal creator catch-up.
• Grab some food and relax after the walk
• Select your favourite images from the evening
• Edit and refine your photos with others
• Share your favourite shots with the group

9:00 PM – Event Concludes

• Finding interesting perspectives and details
• Working with available light after sunset
• Reviewing and editing photographs together as a group

• Your camera and favourite lenses 
• Spare batteries and memory cards
• A laptop (optional) if you’d like to edit alongside us at Sony NZ HQ
