About the event
Join award-winning wildlife photographer, marine biologist, and Sony Digital Imaging Advocate Simon Pierce for this 1-hour introductory workshop on conservation photography and discover how you can use your imagery to create positive change in the natural world.
Simon has a unique insight into this space, having plenty of experience on both sides of the camera. He is the Executive Director of the Marine Megafauna Foundation (which focuses on the conservation of endangered ocean wildlife), while his expedition and wildlife photos and videos have been used to support conservation initiatives by the United Nations, multiple World Heritage Areas, national governments, and many local and international conservation non-profits.
He will discuss how to find opportunities to contribute, what kind of images conservation organisations (and publishers) are looking for, and how to maximise the impact of your work.
