About the event
If you're interested in wildlife photography, or geeking out with fellow nature enthusiasts appeals, then this event is for you! Sony Digital Imaging Advocates Fiona Wardle and Simon Pierce will be co-hosting this informal, friendly photo walk through one of NZ's most beautiful coastal areas.
We'll meet up at the Point Kean carpark and walk part-way around the iconic Kaikōura Peninsula walkway to NZ fur seal and seabird colonies to catch the afternoon light. It'll be a flat walk, albeit over rocky ground, at your own pace.
Fiona and Simon will be on-hand to offer wildlife photography tips, especially focused on the fur seals and birds in flight opportunities, and there'll be a great bunch of people to chat with as we go.
