The Balmain and Glebe Foreshore is undergoing a huge resurgence in development over the next few years, spearheaded by the new Westconnex Rozelle Interchange, Rozelle Parklands, the new Sydney Fish Market, White Bay regeneration and soon to be towering buildings on Glebe Island.
We will begin our morning walking up to one of my favourite city viewpoints, an unknown spot with a stunning view to the city and barangarroo. Then commencing our walk, we will traverse the Anzac Bridge, visit the streets of Pyrmont, the Fish Market (chance for breakfast and a coffee), Blackwattle Bay, The Tram Sheds, and finally Rozelle Parklands.
With so much to shoot along the way, I will be there to guide you on the styles of photography, the subjects and compositions as they come up, and we will all be looking out for that perfect shot from the morning walk.
Around the foreshore, we will find not just the cityscapes, but people with their pets, runners, cyclists, fishermen, boats and yachts, wildlife, birds, flowers, both native and other species, trees. With this being a Saturday morning, the best part will be the multitude of Dragon Boat crews and rowers out in Blackwattle Bay.
As we walk you will be expertly guided by not just a photographer, but a tour guide with the added bonus that this area was my home for many years. I know plenty about the history of Balmain, Pyrmont, Glebe and White Bay that we can chat about as we walk.
So sign up today for this fantastic walk, come and join us at the Sony Scene Tradeshow for the rest of the day, and also be in the draw to enter the Scene Fest competition to win a photography trip with the Sony Team to Greece & Santorini.
