About the event
Join me for a free, self-guided group photography walk exploring Auckland City at night. through long exposures, motion and night photography.
From illuminated cityscapes and waterfront reflections, to moving vehicles and bustling city streets, this event is all about experimenting with shutter speeds and capturing the city from a different perspective.
We'll explore two locations within walking distance of each other, with a potential third stop if time allows.
Whether you're looking to experiment with long exposures, practice your panning techniques, or simply enjoy an evening of photography alongside fellow creatives, this is an opportunity to get out and capture Auckland after dark.
Please note: This is a not a structured workshop.
I will lead the group between locations, introduce different photography techniques, and provide recommended camera settings to help you get started.
From there, you'll have the freedom to experiment with different settings, compositions and techniques at your own pace.
Individual photography tuition will not be provided. Basic familiarity with your camera's manual settings is recommended.
The focus is on exploring, experimenting and enjoying photography in a relaxed group environment.
