Learn how to capture the night sky with Peter and Dylan

About the event

Join Peter from Peter Fogarty Photography and Melbourne Photography Excursions, and Sony Digital Imaging Advocate, Dylan Giannakopoulos at their Kilcunda Bridge Astrophotography Workshop held on Saturday 31st August 2024. Nothing quite compares to the feeling of seeing the Milky Way light up the back of your camera, so why not come and experience it for yourself?

At the workshop, you will learn how to:

Use the 500 rule to capture tack-sharp stars.

Plan your astrophotography shoots around moon phases and galactic centre visibility.

Manually focus your lens.

Utilise compositional techniques to create eye-catching images of the Milky Way.

After the workshop, you will be invited to join a private Facebook group that is strictly limited to past attendees of Dylan Gianna Photography Workshops. The Facebook group offers members a space to share their images, ask questions and learn tips and tricks from Dylan.
