About the event
Join us for a hands-on photography experience exploring the versatility of Sony zoom lenses around Westhaven Marina, Auckland. You'll be given the opportunity to try 4 different Sony lenses and discover how changing focal lengths can completely change the way you approach a scene.
This event is exclusively for photographers who own a Sony Alpha E-mount camera body.
You must bring your own Sony camera body to participate, as this event is focused on trying different Sony lenses with your camera.
What to expect
You'll be split into small groups and rotate through 4 different Sony zoom lenses throughout the session. Each group will have the opportunity to shoot with the available lenses, experiment with different focal lengths and explore how each lens changes your perspective.
We'll walk around Westhaven Marina looking for a variety of subjects, compositions and creative opportunities.

5:00 pm — Meet at Westhaven Marina
Introduction, group briefing and event overview.
5:15 pm — Photowalk Begins
Explore Westhaven Marina and St Marys Bay on foot.
7:00 pm — Event Ends
