Get hands on at Sony House Cape Schanck

About the event

Join us for an in-depth lighting workshop at Sony House Cape Shanck, where you’ll learn the essential techniques for perfecting your portrait lighting. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced photographer, this session will guide you through the art of lighting, helping you create stunning portraits with professional results.

We will have state of the art continuous lighting available to demo, including the Nanlite FC-500C, FC-500B, FC-300C, FC-120C, with a range of softboxes, modifiers and also projection mounts.

This is a rare and exclusive chance for you to get hands on with professional continuous lighting and try creative results with different modifiers and colours.

The Location - Sony House Cape Schanck

Discover the stunning Cape Schanck House by Paul Morgan Architects, an award winning property - Robin Boyd Award.

Located near rugged coastline, Cape Schanck House sits within an expanse of native trees subject to strong prevailing winds. This tree growth has a distinctive pattern, a result of light stimulus, or phototropism, which causes the trees to form a natural ‘tunnel’ at the west of the site. The interiors also create the perfect canvas for portrait and editorial photography.
