This is not positioned as a conventional photography workshop.
Rather, it is a guided creative encounter shaped around light, presence, and image-making.

The Sony Alpha 7R VI is introduced here not only as a new tool, but as part of a broader conversation — between precision and sensitivity, between technology and the way we see people through light.

Within this space, portraiture is approached through restraint rather than intensity: soft tonal transitions, quiet gestures, and the subtle dialogue between shadow and skin. Images are not “taken” in a rush, but formed through attention.

• A live, guided portrait session where lighting, smog, mood, and direction evolve in real time
• Hands-on access to the Sony Alpha 7R VI during the shoot

Eric Peng and Lucius Yin are Melbourne-based Sony Digital Imaging Advocates specializing in portrait, fashion, and editorial photography. Together, they bring complementary creative perspectives, combining technical expertise with artistic direction to deliver immersive portrait experiences in collaboration with Sony Australia.

Professional Nanlite lighting equipment will be available throughout the workshop, giving participants the opportunity to learn how to shape and control light for premium portrait results while working with industry-leading lighting tools.
