About the event
Join Jay over three days as he introduces you to the captivating beauty of the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage area.
Ideal for all experience levels. This tour takes you to majestic lookouts with sublime sunrise and sunset views. You'll get up close and personal to some of the most stunning waterfalls and visit deep canyons to capture sunbeams. Learn about the hidden industrial heritage of the Blue Mountains and gaze at the stars in the darkest skies to capture some Astro images.
Each location has been selected for its photographic potential, leaving you with some epic and memorable images from your trip as well as a deep appreciation for the diverse natural environment of this World Heritage listed area.
You will be driven from our Katoomba accommodation to each location in our 4WD tour vehicle, and safely guided through the landscape across bush tracks. We'll provide expert tuition on location to help you get the best out of your camera. We'll cover important safety considerations of outdoor and wilderness photography, discuss the best equipment and which settings to choose for various times of day, tutor you on filters and long exposure techniques, and guide you through how composition can dramatically improve your images.
There is no better way to experience the splendour of the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains, and this tour has something for everyone. Even non-photographers will see parts of this magical area in a different light.
