About the event
Want to learn how to achieve that silky smooth water effect in your landscape images? Do you know the theory of long exposure photography, but haven't made the jump to get your own filters? Do you have the patience to be a long exposure master?! This is the workshop series for you!
Join Sony Digital Imaging Advocate Andrew J Clarke for this series of long exposure workshops in conjunction with Haida Filters and Maxxum where you will have the chance to see some of Perth's best landscape photography locations and get hands on with the Haida M10-II filter bracket - the same kit Andrew uses for his landscape photography. Maxxum will be offering special deals on all Haida products for all attendees if you like what you see!
***Note: there are limited M10 filter holder kits available. If you require a kit in order to attend, please email Andrew at andrew@andrewjclarke.com.au before booking to confirm availability***
The locations have been specifically selected to provide different challenges - both in terms of composition and long exposure technique.
Sat 7 September 2024 at 4:30pm - John Forrest National Park
Sat 21 September 2024 at 4:30pm - Bells Rapids
Sat 5 October 2024 at 5:00pm - Cape Peron
Each workshop will include an introductory presentation covering the core concepts involved in long exposure photography, including example images of what to expect when using certain settings in certain conditions. From there, Andrew will guide participants to the preferred shooting locations, demonstrate his process for capturing long exposure images and assist you with your set up. The program of each workshop will be somewhat flexible as it is always best to be responsive to the conditions when shooting landscape photography!
