Shoot the autumn colours during golden hour & sunset at McLaren Falls Park
About the event
Join me for a casual golden hour and sunset photo walk at the picturesque McLaren Falls during the height of the autumn colours.
As this is a casual event there won't be any formal teaching but I'll be on hand to offer tips for camera settings to capture great sunset shots and give you ideas on unique compositions around the lake front.
Photographers of all ages and levels of experience are welcome to attend, this is a great opportunity to talk photography, meet some new people, and take great photos!
Please Note: You don't need a Sony camera to attend this event, but a selection of Sony cameras and lenses may be available to try during the evening. Please message me if there is anything specific you would like to try.
Operating under the COVID-19 Protection Framework
Attendees need to be fully vaccinated to attend (vaccine passes will be sighted). Attendees will need to use the COVID Tracer app to sign in on arrival. The use of face masks is encouraged.
Techniques covered
No formal techniques, but advice on the best camera settings to capture autumn colours and the use of filters in landscape photography will be covered.
What to bring
Camera and lenses.
Tripod - I do have one spare (message me if you'd like to use it).
Filters if you have these (I will have some spare filters for people to try - message me beforehand if you would like to so I know your lens size).
