Learn studio lighting for dog portraits

About the event

Join award-winning pet photographer Ina J Photography from Canberra for a fun and educational studio dog photography workshop in Melbourne. This 3-hour session is designed for photographers who want to master the art of creating professional-quality dog portraits using studio lighting—while also gaining insight into building a profitable pet photography business.

    • Understand the basics of working with flash and continuous lighting
    • Learn one-light and two-light setups for clean, flattering pet portraits
     
  2. Posing and Composition
    • Techniques for posing dogs naturally and confidently
    • How to compose impactful images with a studio background
     
  3. Working with Dogs in a Studio Setting
    • Understanding dog behaviour in an indoor environment
    • Tips to keep dogs engaged and relaxed

You'll get an e-booklet as well with beginner guide to studio dog photography.

Bring your own camera gear to shoot, and if you have Godox trigger for your models please bring this along too.  

Please leave your own pets at home—our professional dog models will be the stars of the studio! 

Note: To be able to run this as I am hiring a studio, I will need a minimum number of 5 to register and attend on the day

There will be some Sony lens and cameras you can use to play around with, but it's highly recommended that you bring your own gears
