Join photographers Rachel Hadfield and Jasper Da Seymour at the incredible Ride Pods Derby for a hands-on MTB photography workshop. Whether you’re looking to sharpen your skills, learn about the industry, or just spend a weekend immersed in mountain biking and photography, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
You can choose between two ways to attend:
Full Experience – Includes the full-day workshop on Saturday, an incredible catered dinner at Ride Pods, and an overnight stay in the twin-share pods. On Sunday, you’re free to ride the world-class trails or head home.

The Workshop Plan

Morning at Ride Pods: Rach and Jasper will share their approach to shooting MTB, working with riders, and navigating the photography industry.

Catered Lunch: Epic lunch catered by the Pods Ride Chefs

Afternoon Shoot: Head out on the trails with the Bark of Biking crew and two pro riders for a hands-on shooting session, putting theory into practice in real MTB environments.

Evening (Full Experience only): Share a catered dinner and a few cold beverages back at Ride Pods. Stay overnight and soak in the full Derby experience.
This workshop blends technical learning, practical shooting, and the chance to connect with like-minded riders and creatives in one of the best MTB locations in the world.
Techniques covered
- Creating a strong narrative in your images, telling the athletes story not just the on course action.
- Creating creative and dynamic images, from curation through to execution.
- Practical tips for creating action images, reading light, camera settings and post production workflow.
- Industry insight, working with athletes, brands and media. How to get published and negotiate contracts.
