About the event
Nighttime photography opens up a world of creative possibilities, but it also comes with challenges.
In this online workshop, Sony Digital Imaging Advocate Eric Peng will share his top tips for shooting in low-light environments, whether you're capturing cityscapes under streetlights or the stars in a dark sky.
Learn how to use longer exposures, control ISO settings to minimize noise, and shoot with wide apertures to capture as much light as possible.
Eric will also cover how to use a tripod for stability and techniques like light painting to create dynamic, surreal images.
By the end of this session, you’ll be able to confidently tackle any low-light situation and capture stunning photos, no matter the time of day.
All levels of photographers are welcome but this is aimed for beginners. You don't have to be a Sony shooter to join but some techniques or settings may be specific to Sony cameras.
This online workshop is 1pm AU Time, 3pm NZ time.
