About the event

***This event is preceded by a settings and camera customisation workshop***

The next monthly meet-up and photo walk for the Sony Alpha Perth Facebook group!

All members new, old or prospective are welcome to join for a drink, chat and photo walk at through in the Perth CBD. This is free social event to meet new people, catch up with friends and chat photography - so feel free to come and go as you please. Guests are welcome too, but please have them register their attendance through Sony Scene.

If you want to hang around for the photo walk, this month we'll be doing a walk through the Cultural Centre in Northbridge and checking out some architectural highlights in the Perth CBD. Depending on conditions, we'll find a nice spot for sunset.  

  • 4:00pm - meet outside 82 Beaufort St in Northbridge
  • 4:00-4:45pm - monthly catchup at nearby venue
  • 4:45-5:45pm - photo walk
  • 5:45-6:00pm - sunset shooting and wrap-up

Dress according to the weather forecast for the day - sometimes around sunset it can get a bit cold!
There is limited street parking on Beaufort Street and in the surrounding area as well as paid parking at the Cultural Centre in Northbridge
Yes. There are many buses that run down Beaufort Street and the meetup point is about a 5 minute walk from the Perth Train Station.
