About the event

Join award winning photographer and Sony Alpha Digital Imaging Advocate Robin Moon at a sunrise Running Of The Horses at beautiful Glenworth Valley. We will be met at 05.30 (or you can camp overnight!) and be met by a rider on horseback who escorts us on a short walk to the beautiful creek crossing. Prior to the shoot starting we will discuss the best settings to use for lighting and speed and lens choice. From 6am a herd of horses will gallop across the creek bed a number of times for us whilst we are in the best position to capture their energy and wild water splashing. You can stand either on the creek edge, or even in the water if you wish. After the herd has moved on one or two riders will do some action shots at speed thru the water . As an added bonus Sony will provide us with some of their latest lenses and cameras for you to try during the shoot at no extra cost. You just need to leave your drivers licence with us and be prepared to share if required. At the conclusion we will retreat to the Homestead balcony with valley views and be served freshly brewed coffee and tea plus a bacon and egg roll and muffin for breakfast. (Dietary changes available) If you want to download your photos onto your laptop and need a little Lightroom or Photoshop advice Robin and her partner will be available to assist.
