Learn how to take better photos at sports events

About the event

Want to know how to take better photographs at sporting events but don't know where to start?

Join me for a casual photowalk photographing the Secondary School Sevens at Bill Brown Park.

I will be able to offer some tips to help you get sharper and more dynamic sports photos.

Photographers of all ages and levels of experience are welcome to attend, however having a basic understanding of how to navigate your camera's menus and settings will help you make the most of this event. It's a great opportunity to talk photography with like-minded people, take some photos, and watch some top tier rugby.

You don't need a Sony camera to attend this event, but a selection of Sony cameras and lenses may be available to try. Please email me on hello@davidle.co.nz at least a week prior to the event if there is anything specific you would like to try and I'll see if it can be provided.

Techniques covered

  • Camera settings
  • Composition

What to bring
