About the event
Join Robin at the Sony Store for an informal discussion about her award winning wildlife and landscape images. -Every image has a story!
If you are keen to progress in your photographic eye and skills an objective view of technique is often required. We will dive deeper into how to plan, set up, shoot, and create a final image- we will deconstruct how the images were captured and what was required to do so. Some images are complicated and some are easy to edit but all have abiding principles and techniques that make them stand out.
Our discussion will follow where you want to take the topic - the best way to learn is to be engaged and let your creative brain flow.
Please bring ONE image of your own on a USB stick for group discussion ( this can be an anonymous process for the shy ) - For maximum benefit an image that you feel needs work but are unsure how to proceed would work best rather than showcasing your 'best' image ( unless you're brave enough to do so!) Group discussion will revolve around postive and constructive advice only.
Robin has extensive experience as a photography judge with experience at both national and international competitions and will share those skills when we discuss your images.
This workshop is free of charge but by purchasing a ticket and attending this event you will go into the draw to win a spot in the Ultimate Scene Event - a 6 day trip to Paris, France! Find more details here: https://scene.sonyanz.com/articles-and-resources/what-is-scene-fest
