About the event
Join me for sunrise and golden hour at one of New Zealand's most unique locations, the Blue Spring.
We'll shoot amongst the most pristine water you'll find anywhere in the country, with some incredible composition options.
Learn how to use a polariser and ND filters to improve your results and give you different creative options for your images.
If people have time afterwards, we will pop into Putaruru for a coffee.
Techniques covered
- How to use a polariser to enhance the natural beauty of the location
- When to use an ND filter to improve the look of the water
- Composition ideas for maximum impact
What to bring
- Mirrorless or DSLR camera
- Lenses (I recommend bringing a range from 16-35mm through to 70-200mm as some shots are very wide while others need a real zoom focal length)
- Tripod
- ND filters and polariser (I may have some available to borrow, please enquire)
- Warm and wet weather gear
- A willingness to learn!
