About the event

Lets have a relaxed evening learning new skills in a beautiful and easy to shoot environment. I'll teach you how to get your camera off auto and how manual settings give you the control to take the picture YOU want to. Take the mystery out of your dials, shoot the soft evening light and when the sun is gone we will capture the magic reflections across the harbour.

Techniques covered

  • Manual settings ( basic techniques )
  • Basic long exposure
  • Composing your photos to make them feel 'right'.
  •  Using filters to control light.

What to bring

  • your camera. If its not a Sony camera you need to bring the instruction book also.
  • Tripod.
  • Filters if you have them
  • Sensible walking shoes
  • a cool jacket for when the sun drops
