Come along for a urban photo walk & meet in Auckland

About the event

Join me for a casual urban photo walk & meet in Auckland!

As this is a casual event there won't be any formal techniques covered on the night. This event aims to bring people together and help build up community. Photographers/Videographers/Creatives of all ages and levels of experience are welcome to attend.

We'll all meet at the base of Mt Victoria, Devonport. Then make a short walk up to the lookout, We'll then have a chance to meet & collaborate with each other whilst taking in and capturing the unninterrupted views of Auckland City and (hopefully) an amazing sunset.

There will also be a small competition for the most creative photo/s taken on the night, with a small prize up for grabs! (more details to follow on the night)

I’ll be more than happy to help you out with any general camera settings, and also give you some tips for capturing some interesting photos during the evening.

Please Note: You don't need a Sony camera to attend this event.

  • No specific techniques will be covered on the evening, but I will be available to offer advice about camera settings and answer any questions that may arise.

Comfortable walking shoes and Suitable clothing for the weather on the day.
There is on street parking in the streets surrounding Mt Victoria.
There are no age or mobility restrictions for this event, however as we will be walking a short distance uphill basic fitness is recommended.
Yes, people of all ages are encouraged to attend!
Yes, the meeting point is easily accessible by public transport.

For the whole event we'll be in a wide open aired space, social distancing is encouraged. Booking a ticket ensures that we have the correct contact tracing for the night as well.
