Learn how to film product reels for brands

About the event

If you love to create video content and want to sharpen your skills, this is an oportunity to learn to film professional video content for reels when working with brands. In this workshop, you'll learn tips and tricks on how to film a mountain biking product. You'll meet and work with 2 moutnain biking athletes and learn the art of story-telling through video! 

Ready to get dirty and capture these guys sending it? Let's Get Creative!!

 

 

Techniques covered

  • Camera settings for video  
  • Frame rates - differences between 25, 50 and 100 fps  
  • Shutter speed (the 180 rule)  
  • ISO settings Shooting in LOG profile VS standard profiles  
  • Working with ND filters   
  • Lens choices 
  • Location and creating depth in your video  
  • Storytelling through visuals - how camera movement and angles help motivate narrative Story sequence - beginning, middle and end

What to bring

  • Mirrorless camera or DSLR   
  • Any lenses you have (wide/ zoom, we can make it work)   
  • Batteries   
  • SD Card  
  • ND filters (if you have them)  
  • Comfy closed shoes 
  • Water bottle

Make sure you have closed shoes that are solid for rugged and dirty terrain
Yes - parking available at the track
Need to be comfortable on rocky and dirt terrain - unfortunately there is no wheelchair access due to the nature of the event
If you are unwell please do not attend the event - let me know via email and you'll get a credit to the next event
