Join Sony Digital Imaging Advocate Joanne Stephan x URBNSURF SYDNEY for an exclusive afternoon of surfing, photography, video and good vibes, with the chance to get hands-on with Sony’s latest cameras and lenses and learn how to capture the action as the light changes throughout the afternoon.
Whether you’re into photography, video, or both, this one’s for you.
NOTE: Please arrive at 2:30pm before the event begins at 3:00pm so that we can organise each attendee's spectator pass and also set you up with loan gear if you choose. The first session is 3:00pm sharp, which we don't want to miss! :)
Get amongst the action and learn how to capture fast-moving surfers as they hit the waves.
We’ll cover:
Take a break, grab some food or a drink from URBNSURF and hang out with the crew.
Lunch is at your own expense, but Jo will shout everyone a drink!
And this is also your chance to check out the Sony Loan Gear station, where you can get hands-on with the latest Sony cameras and lenses and try out different setups before heading back out.
Then we switch things up and take the cameras into video mode.

And because the light will be changing throughout the afternoon, you’ll see how your camera settings and shooting approach need to change with it.
